I started programming at 12, in the early days of the Minecraft modding community. I grew up in Newcastle, and studied Maths and CS at the University of Edinburgh.

At different points in my life I've dabbled in Muay Thai, Buddhism, photography, scuba diving, and motorcycling. I'm also an avid economic history reader.
